THE EFFECTIVENES VOCABULARY MASTERY OF USING WORDWALL IN RECOUNT TEXT AT THE EIGHT GRADE STUDENTS OF SMP NEGERI 26 PURWOREJO IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2022/2023
The first "According to Similarly in Anggraini (2013:2), vocabulary is one of the basic elements in achieving all four language skills. Teaching vocabulary is an important task in teaching English because vocabulary mastery related to all language learning and it is concern all four language skills as listening, speaking, reading and writing. Learning vocabulary is important since the ability of the students to learn English such as to write and read, as well as to propose their ideas and to comprehend the subject is determined by vocabulary mastery". (;) The second "A word wall is a continuous and organized display of key words that provides a visual reference for students across study units or terms. These words are used continuously by teachers and students in various activities (Indrayana, 2014). Therefore, Word walls support students' ongoing study of how words work and should be interactive, not just the display of words. Word walls encourage students to actively learn about words and therefore should be referred to and used. often master simple gifts. The word wall is a collection of high-frequency scenes". (;) The third "Hyland (2018) stated that: "recount is a kind of genre that has social function to retell event to inform or entertaining." A recount tells about the occurrences in the past because recount means "to tell"; thus, recount text may be regarded as "text that tells again." It can be said here that recount text retells a story and experience in the past with sequence events to tell others about one activity. Students who do this kind of text to entertain how important a story is must use past simple, which is verb two with a specific adverb. It is straightforward for students to differ recount text from another text as long as students have learned more about regular and irregular verb because they are using to retell a story in recount text sentences. A recount text is a text that retells past events, generally in the order in which they happened. It indicates from this idea that recall text happens in certain occurrences in the previous experience. Students must perform these activities properly and know how to apply the patterns for this text utilizing chronological connections such as then, first, on that day-and utilizing connecting verbs".

PICTURE SERIES AS A MEDIA TO TEACH PROCEDURE TEXT AT THE EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS OF SMP MUHAMMADIYAH PURWOREJO : A COLLABORATIVE ACTION RESEARCH
As Purba (2018) said that writing is the process of conveying ideas in the written form. When the idea is not generated well, the students will got difficulties in writing process and will not be able to convey their idea in the written form well. Jacob et al in Weigle (2019:115) point out five components in writing. They are content, organization, vocabulary, structure and mechanics.; According to pardiyono (2012:6) Procedure Text provides information to others about the steps or procedures in completing a job or problem, to tell the procedures, to tell the steps to accomplish a job; Erni Setyowati (2015) who stated that picture series is the alternative way in writing to help students to find their idea in making a story.; . Many different dimensions can be highlighted in different ways to create what some have called a family of approaches to action research (McNiff, 2013; Rowell, Polush, Riel & Bruewer, 2015; Rowell, Riel & Polush, 2016). We use collaborative action research to highlight the different ways in which action research involves collaboration with critical friends.

POP UP BOOK AS MEDIA TO TEACH READING SKILL AT THE THIRD GRADE STUDENTS OF SDN PURWOREJO : A COLLABORATIVE ACTION RESEARCH
According to Bluemel & Taylor (2013) Pop Up Book is a book that offers the potential for motion and interaction through the use of paper mechanism folds, scrolls, tabs, or wheels ; Similarly, Ness (2015) Reported that preservice teacher believed they had deeper knowledge of comprehension-related reading strategies after having multiple opportunities to plan and read aloud to students. Participants "seemed somewhat surprised" to realize that quality comprehension instruction required planning and did not "simply emerge naturally and spontaneously" (p.266) ; Philips & Kristiansen (2013) Collaborative action research is a process that develops, grows, and shifts over time, and the relationships between the researcher participants are a defining factor. These go beyond those found in other forms of qualitative research, which have a more instrumental orientation towards relations, revolving as they do around the use of participants as respondents or informants in the production of data, in order to produce research results.

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING MULTIMODAL AS A MEDIA IN TEACHING READING AT THE THIRD SEMESTER OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE EDUCATION OF PURWOREJO MUHAMMADIYAH UNIVERSITY IN THE ACADEMIC YEARS OF 2022/2023
According to Nurviyani et al., (2020:177) stated on their research DEVELOPING STUDENTS'READING SKILL THROUGH MAKING MULTIMODAL INFERENCES, Multimodal interpretation refers to predicting text intention by referring to some text clues before, during, and after the reading process by combining several modalities such as perceptual, verbal, spatial, and motion, delivered digitally or non-digitally; Boshrabadi & Biria, (2014:367) stated on their study THE EFFICACY OF MULTIMODAL VS. PRINT-BASED TEXTS FOR TEACHING READING COMPREHENSION SKILLS TO IRANIAN HIGH SCHOOL THIRD GRADERS, That Reading multimodal texts is a separate process; students who are reading a picture book or an information book must comprehend the material in words, pictures, images, and graphics at the exact same time. The first step in understanding multimodal texts such as picture books is to be familiar with the three types of images: 1. icon 2. index 3.; Moses, L., (2015:91) on her research THE ROLE(S) OF IMAGE FOR YOUNG BILINGUALS READING MULTIMODAL INFORMATIONAL TEXTS stated that Image as a multimodal companion to written language enhanced meaning creation for EFL Learners; students relied on both decoded textual language and visuals to acquire a better comprehension of the subject.

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING MULTIMODAL AS A MEDIA IN TEACHING SPEAKING AT THE THIRD SEMESTER OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE EDUCATION OF PURWOREJO MUHAMMADIYAH UNIVERSITY IN THE ACADEMIC YEARS OF 2022/2023
According to Zhussupova et al., (2022:226-227), throughout their research on DESIGNING MULTIMODAL TEXTS IN DEVELOPING SPEAKING SKILLS FOR PRE-SERVICE EFL TEACHERS, the notion of multimodality refers to the use of various literacies involving two or more forms of communication, and thus it is closer to verbal communication than written records when an individual has been influenced not only by speech but also by physical features reception of information to stimulate an individual's interest. ; Yuliani (2022:26) states in her research on MULTIMODAL LEARNING MATERIAL IN AN ENGLISH-SPEAKING CLASS IN KAMPUNG BALUWARTI that in order for the teaching-learning process of English speaking to be committed, individuals need to relate themselves and collaborate their everyday experiences to the learning material. They need to be accommodated. Such collaborations might be created by taking a different approach to learning: one that combines learners' numerous modalities as well as the environment's available instruments which includes the multiple representations supplied by literary works or interactive media. This method is referred to as multimodal learning. ; Siahaan et al., (2020:2036-2037) found that Multimodal-based digital media was beneficial following field trials and effectiveness testing during their study on THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PUBLIC SPEAKING LEARNING MEDIA BASED ON DIGITAL MULTIMODAL IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE COURSES AT POLITEKNIK PARIWISATA MEDAN. The process or practice of individuals gaining speaking abilities has increased dramatically. The effect was significant, particularly in terms of (1) an appealing desire to learn, (2) motivation and demand for learning, and (3) a suitable setting.
